What is so special about conspiracy theories? Conceptually distinguishing beliefs in conspiracy theories from conspiracy beliefs in psychological research

In psychological research, conspiracy theories are often defined as explanations of events involving the hidden action a malevolent group. Such definition raises false negative problem, it does not capture that about events. It also positive problem because categorises any conspiracy-based explanation theory, even though distinguishing from other claims is at core many attempts to define this notion. Based on more elaborated definitions and conceptual reengineering approach, we propose can be public being pervasively lied regarding some aspect(s) reality, allow group(s) enact harmful, self-serving agenda. Compared definitions, ours has advantage taking position truth value theories, making highly operative for research.
